Ground School Classes

Exec 1 Aviation, through a partnership with Des Moines Area Community College, administers accredited college courses for both the Private Pilot and Instrument Pilot ratings. These courses are designed to teach the student the information that they need to pass the FAA written tests for these ratings. Student supplies include texts from both Cessna/King Schools and Gleim Products, the FAR-AIM, local charts, a course plotter and a flight computer. The course is taught by one of our experienced charter pilots and meets twice weekly at night off campus, at the airport in our conference room. Contact us or DMACC for course times.
