Owner at Exec 1 Aviation
After
operating his King Air 200 in the Exec 1 Charter fleet Ed Boesen has purchased
our company outright. Our team forsees continued growth at the Ankeny
Regional Airport. The terminal area remodeling is nearing completion and
we plan to add a new maintenance building and a restaurant in the next
year. We are building a new pilot lounge, looking to add a control tower,
and building more hangars to cater to the increased corporate traffic.

Public Airport Meeting draws large crowd
AOPA
president Phil Boyer was the keynote speaker during the June 4, 2007 meeting
to discuss the hot topic of general aviation user fees. Congressman Leonard
Boswell, whose plane is hangared here in Ankeny, also attended and along
with Mr. Boyer answered questions and concerns from the crowd. Most attendees
said they came away from the meeting optimistic and pleased with what the
speakers had to say.

Corporate Hangar Completed
The
new North Hangar is complete.The door is large enough to fit a Gulfstream
III. This large hangar is now being used as a community hangar and for
overnight storage of transient aircraft.
