AOPA president Phil Boyer was the keynote speaker during the June 4, 2007 meeting to discuss the hot topic of general aviation user fees. Congressman Leonard Boswell, whose plane is hangared here in Ankeny, also attended and along with Mr. Boyer answered questions and concerns from the crowd. Most attendees said they came away from the meeting optimistic and pleased with what the speakers had to say.
